A custom marine sun shade built to your boat, patterned in 3D so it pulls drum-tight with no flapping, and sewn by hand in our Delray Beach, Florida shop. We have built marine canvas for 52 years, and we ship these anywhere in the country.

Up in under 60 seconds, down just as fast. One person, no tools. It stows into its bag in seconds, so it is up when you want shade and gone when you want sun. The whole family gets hours more time on the water.

How it works, step by step

  1. Order online. Pick your boat length, number of poles, and pole type, then check out. That is the only hard part, and it takes about two minutes.
  2. We ship your kit first. Your poles, hardware, and a length of rope arrive at your door. The mounting hardware attaches to your T-top with four screws or fewer, sometimes none at all, and your poles set into the rod holders you already have. The rope threads through everything so you can pull it taut.
  3. You measure, right on the boat. With the poles standing and the rope run, you take a few simple hand measurements and send them back to us. About five minutes, and we walk you through it with a short video.
  4. We design, cut, and fabricate. As soon as we have your measurements, we pattern and build your shade in just a few days.
  5. We ship the finished shade. It arrives ready to clip onto the poles you already set up. Most customers have their whole shade system flying in two weeks or less.

You keep your poles and hardware the whole time, so the shade is the only thing we build to order. Nothing gets cut until your measurements are confirmed.

Choose your poles

  • Aluminum telescoping: adjusts from 44 to 69 inches, with bottom cleats and rope guides. Light, simple, and a great value.
  • Stainless steel telescoping: marine-grade stainless that adjusts from 66 to 84 inches. Strong, corrosion-proof, and a clean classic look.
  • Carbon fiber telescoping: adjusts from 68 to 88 inches, the lightest and stiffest option. Choose blue, red, white, silver, or black.

Most shades run on two poles. Larger or longer layouts step up to four or six poles for full, symmetric coverage.

Built with premium marine components

  • Fabric: Serge Ferrari Soltis 86, the premium marine shade textile. Blocks the sun, holds its color, and breathes in the wind. Available in a range of colors, confirmed after checkout.
  • Thread: 100% PTFE lifetime thread. It will not rot in the sun, so the stitching outlasts the fabric.
  • Hardware: all stainless steel, quick-release fittings. No corrosion, no fuss.
  • The kit: your shade, your poles, a shade bag, and a pull bag for fast, clean storage.
